Perfect Chemistry is a high ULTRA-famous episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. In this episode, Sandy and Plankton work together to make a teleporter.

Why The Chemistry Is Perfect[]

  1. The characters are likable, with SpongeBob, Plankton, Karen and Mr. Krabs as their normal, lovable selves and not being their flanderized versions.
    • Sandy is also still likable for the most part.
  2. The machines Sandy and Plankton create are cool!
  3. The gags they use in the episode are funny, like that gag about Sandy's evil laugh, which she finally pulls off at the very end of the episode. The Squidward misfortune gags are also very hilarious, as they actually use his misfortune for comedy correctly in this episode.
  4. "Fart" jokes used well here.
  5. The animation here is above the average expected for a SpongeBob episode with a little uniqueness of animation. The voice acting is also still pretty good as usual.
  6. SpongeBob is very likable in this episode, since he tried his best to be Sandy's lab partner, and we feel sorry for him when Sandy accidentally abandoned him for Plankton. When he was a lab monkey, he stayed positive and did his best to help his friend. This is a great sign of SpongeBob's redemption in the following Season, since this is the end of season 7 and he’s very pleasant, likable and charming here, unlike what he was during MOST of seasons 6B & 7.
    • Likewise, Plankton and Karen will also redeem themselves in the following season as well, and are also likable here unlike what they were during MOST of seasons 6 & 7.
  7. Good Ending: While Plankton did trick SpongeBob and Sandy into helping him with the teleport machine to get the Krabby Patty Formula, Sandy ends up tricking him as they got the formula, while Plankton ends up being stuck in an empty bottle. It was also sweet for Sandy to call SpongeBob her lab partner, as she realized what she did earlier and made it up to him, much to SpongeBob's relief and happiness. And as mentioned above, Sandy's evil laugh gag at the end was funny.
  8. Regardless of how Season 7 is one of the show's WORST seasons, this episode was a "perfect" way to end an otherwise AWFUL season.

Why in a Few Seconds The Experiment will Explode[]

  1. Plot hole: Why did Sandy want SpongeBob to hand her the wrench, when it was near her, and it was clearly shown that she can reach it?
  2. Sandy accidentally abandoned SpongeBob after declaring Plankton as her lab partner, while Plankton told SpongeBob that he's not Sandy's lab partner anymore.
  3. Some may not like the toilet humor.

Reception[]

Perfect Chemistry got positive reviews and was considered one of if not the best Season 7 episode along with "Enchanted Tiki Dreams", "The Abrasive Side", "The Bad Guy Club for Villains", and "The Inside Job". It was also in 59th place in the SpongeBob's Top 100 UK event.
